Okay can anyone give me a clue as to where to suggest to someone to get a late bargain abroad sunshine is the key here I am told....not to noisy/lively but no out the back of beyond.

The Algarve is lovely this time of year & if you stay in the old town it's not so noisy - I would have thought there would be some real bargains out there at the minute with the £ being so weak against the Euro however much more expensive when you're there.  We're meant to be touring Italy this year but it's working out so expensive we're thinking of either going back to USA or even South Africa again, bit longer flight but much more value for money.

Teletext used to be the place to go but I think the internet has taken over, so maybe try travelsupermarket or even pop into their local travel agents, I've always found they can find you the best deals without the hassle of looking around yourself.
