I know Mid Somerset always have a companion dog show as part of the agricultural show, but a few weeks ago I was looking through prodogs and I noticed that they were listed on there as holding an open show (same day as the agricultural show, 16th August)

I waited a bit because there wasn't anything on the Mid Somerset site at the time and I wanted to see if anything appeared on there first. Just checked and the schedule is up, no mention of an open show but the usual companion show is now listed.

Anyone know if they really are having an open show? I would guess no as I can't find any mention and I know prodogs isn't infallible, but seemed strange it was up there to start with!

The dog section stopped about 5 or more years ago, which was a shame because I loved going to this show.

It wasn't an agility show was it ? - I know there was one thereabouts but didn't sign up for it because they mentioned the use of guns - Meg would not cope with loud noises near-by.

No it was definitely an all breed open show.

That's interesting Lexy, they used to hold an open show then? If so maybe someone's having a time travelling moment! I'm fairly sure it wasn't listed last year cos I would have noticed. I'll scrap that one off my list then ;)
