Everytime i go to the post office these days, the couterstaff reel off a list of services that i shouldn't attempt to live without, apparently. They ask if i want insurance,do i need a mobile phone top up,what about changing to a post office landline. No thanks to all of the above-if i change my mind i'll let you know.I only wish they'd have asked if i needed any stamps, because i did and i came out without any!that reminds me,i wanted to send an envelope with some family photos for my brother to add to ancestry.Duly weighed the charge was 90p,that would get them there in a couple of days i was told
or i could have guaranteed next day delivery for
£5.Blimey,i could have taken them there myself for less than that.So i paid the 90p,and they got there the next day anyway.
