Topic Dog Boards / Health / My Libby has had me worried..

my youngest nearly 3 yrs has had me worried for the last two weeks she has had very unusual behaviour the kind of stuff that you cant put your finger on but know something isnt right. she has been eating and drinking , playing but not as full on a normal. but she does suffer from grass allergy so we put it down to that.
Anyway last weekend she began panting exessively very clingy to me and she actually 'low growled' at one of the other girls when she came to me for a cuddle which is very out of character , the panting went on into the Sunday so I decided I would go to the emergency vet as I knew something wasnt right.
She had a thorough check heart good lungs good no pain in her limbs teeth fine etc, vet put it down to the grass allergy stressing her out a bit ...back home £72 lighter!

Wednesday still panting now I am stressed out as much as she is ! so off I went back to see my own vet he gave her an examination and found that she is producing milk ...my little girl is having a phantom ..she is 9 wks post season ... how did I miss that!!!!!! sh has never had one before usually she sails through them .
When I thought about it she had her season when we had our litter and she went in to meet them in the middle of her season , she didnt have me around as much as she normallly does  so I think the combination of it all has brought this on.

I am sooo relieved ..I cant tell you...she is now on galistop .....(gosh that is sooo expensive but worth it for my baby!!)
