My mother bought a scratch card, which I scratched off for her and I won £50. My mother never normally buys things like this but said she felt really lucky.
Anyway she said I was to have it but only if I treated myself in some way, I was not to use it for bills or food.
Well tonight at our local pub they have a psychic evening so I went down there with Charly and her boyfriend. I have booked a reading with a lady who has done readings for celebrities and politicans at 9pm tonight and Charly and her boyfriend are also going to have readings at the same time with another lady there.
Can't wait I havn't had a reading or an evening out in ages, may even buy myself an orange juice while I am down there too

I baby sat my niece and nephews at the weekend, my sister and brother in law had their first "proper"  night out in over 5 years since their first was born (i.e didnt have to be back at 9pm for M-I-L who's babysitting) . Everyone deserves a good night out, even if they are few and far between. Have a lovely time....even lovelier that it isnt costing you anything :-)

Enjoy your night out.
After all you do deserve a treat sometimes.
It is so easy to let bonus things like that just get frittered into normal things so it is a really good idea to make it special.

Well my lady I thought was crap, Just general things she told me like I am going to meet a man, I am going abroad. A friend who lives near me is going to stab me in the back. I have a carreer change comeing up ::)
I have got it taped so will listen to it again later and see if it makes more sense. Oh and the name Ted means something to do with me (erm I don't know a Ted at all).
Also she was saying things that she felt fitted as when she done the Tarot cards she didn't realise I knew the meanings of a lot of them having done them myself for people in the past, and gave them different meanings she thought I wanted to hear.
Feel very dissapointed and wish I had seen the one Charly saw as she was brill and came out with how Charly is not bought up by her birth mum and yet is still in the family and calls me mum. How she is very keen on buisness and wants to end up succesful in buisness.
How she sees spirits herself and opens up to them but must shut off better as she constantly has too many around her.
There was loads of other stuff about her that was also absolutly spot on too that nobody could have known.
Still I bought myself a J2O to drink in the pub so I suppose at least I got out and had a drink

Might it be Edward though???? (ted for short) and it could be someone from the past or someone in the family you dont know well?

She's a silly woman reading cards in that way.No-one will trust her. They must be properly interpreted. If she really wants to help people, and that is the whole point of readings, she must practice layouts before ever telling anyone anything. You already know,Bev,that they can be misinterpreted and misunderstood, and they have to be properly looked after and respected.
Did you give up reading altogether,I know it can be draining as John studied them and gave a few readings purely to help people.A reader  should never make things up.
- By bevb [in] Date 11.06.09 05:31 UTC
No I don't know an Eddie or Edward either and never have done.
Yes poppity I did give up altogether as it really did drain me.  Occasionally if I am out or somewhere and something comes through to me and a spirit gets very adamant it should be passed on then I will pass that one thing on.  Or if there is an animal that is really distressed with something that I meet, and wants desperatly to let the owner know why or what is wrong I will relay the message.

You know what Bev,that is exactly what happens to me,about feeling that i have to pass a message on.it doesn't happen very often but when it does i could never ignore it,even though it's quite embarrassing to tell someone you have to tell them that you have been asked to pass on a message. It's like a strong thought to me and i know i've been trusted to do the job.
I don't have psychic powers and i'm not a mystic or anything like that-it's just something that happens and i'm the messenger.Up to now the only message i've had to pass on to for a while was on this forum the other day.

im not into any of this however last year when i was househunting with dave we passed through a village i had never been to before or even heard of (dont even know its name) i was looking at the houses as we drove through when i suddenly felt really sick and weird..i looked at this house to my right and i just felt an overwhelming urge to get out of this place ASAP, once away from this village i felt ok
Dave who is really sceptical was quite intregued and asked if i had murdered someone there in a former life...
and then the other night a program was on telly and a fella was talking and behind him was a weird looking building and once again i freaked out with the same feelings and had to turn it over and then felt fine again...
its a weird feeling and not something to be enjoyed....

What a nasty experience for you.You don't have to be into it,like you don't have to be into sport,it's just there. If you are worried or preoccupied by how you felt,it may help you to go to whatever church you belong to,and have a quiet few minutes there.Just thinking. You are protected in this world by your Guardian Angel,so if you feel the need, ask for help to settle your mind.
