Has anyone used it?  If so, what for and how was the result.

I have heard it can be good for callouses and minor skin irritation?

I  hae used it on our horse for a sarcoid, it did the job for that and killed it off, havent used it on the dogs as have had no need, have heard mixed results, some people wont touch it, some are pleased, guess it depends on the individual animal, the camerosa people were very helpful when we phoned them with some questions.

I have used it on my terriers who are prone to hotspots, and pull there hair out, leaving the skin red and sore.
I recommend it anyhow.

I know of a few people who have used it and say its wonderful stuff, though if the dog has allergies as soon as you stop using it the problem can often arise yet again.
I think it does depend on the reason for using it.

I used Camrosa ointment on one of our dogues who had a very dry cracked nose. I had to put it on every day for about 2-3 weeks. After that, his nose was much better, a bit pink to start with but healthy looking. Now his nose still gets a bit dry but a bit of E45 cream does the trick whereas previously it didn't make any impact.

Justi, can you tell me what type of Sarcoid it was?  My donkey has fibroblastic sarcoids, which have been tied and dropped off, however we have been warned they could come back more aggressively.  Is it something I could use to try and prevent it reoccuring?  Thanks

Hi not sure what type of sarcoid it was but it was the single lump type not the many tiny tumor type, but I am told camerosa works for all types, however you cannot use it as a preventative as it has to be applied to the sarcoid/tumor, all sarcoids can return, we have been lucky in the last 3 years we have seen a couple of tiny suspect bumps, which we have applied the camerosa  too and they have not come to anything, which is what we do now,  if we find a suspect sarcoid type bump we treat immediately.  The origional sarcoids, the camerosa made them shrivel up and drop off.
