We have two 4 day old pups (Toy Breed) born by emergency ceaserian last wednesday. In the last day the boy pup who is much bigger than his sister seems to be very restless and lifting his head up and crying, he also seems very stiff but is still managing to feed.We took him to the vet this morning and the vet was unsure but did mention swimmers and  said to see how the next 24 hours go then to decide if there was any hope for him. Obviously we are very upset and wondered if anyone had any experience or advise on this condition.

try making the bedding lumpy , so his head  is raised slightly , if  his breathing is raspy might be worth stoping the milk for 12 hours and giving him liver juice , boil some liver very slighty till most of the juices run out of it (the blood) , let it cool and give him that every half hour without fail and a couple of drops of nutri drops to help build his strength up.
