I have just put my dogs on a new complete...to them.
I have found that their poo is very crumbly and chalkie, anythoughts why this should be like this please.

Is it CSJ by any chance? That is known to turn poo crumbly.

No Marianne its burns venison and rice.

That sounds posh!  I use Burns chicken and rice - everything normal.  Did try using a cheap tin - Chappie because someone told me there was too much protein in Burns.  Well she went and went and I thought that I was going to run out of bags on my walk.  Back to Burns! Can't afford to take her out on walks with cheap food - I will be too laden down. :-)

OK thank you maybe i will try the chicken then.
Irang burns but they couldnt really tell me why their poo was crumbly, she said they were on correct amount,so maybe the venison was causing it.

Ive just switched my adults over to this, poos are nice and firm but crumbly as you say. Bit of a nightmare when poop scooping, wether with bags on walks or with the shovel in the garden!

My dogs have crumbly poo on Burns Pork & Potato. Can't remember what they're like on Venison as they haven't had it for a while.

My dogs also have crumbly poops with Burns Venison food.  I think it's because the ingredients have no fillers, their poops are similar when they have raw.

Crumbly and chalky is to me always ...bones....lots of raw bones.
Karen :)
