My son & D in Law are on their hols so looking after their two dogs, one of them happened to have an appointment at the groomers she goes every 8 weeks so I took her for the first time, I have short hair breed.
Well she came out smelling delightful, I have honestly never smelt her smelling so sweet or any other dog come to that!.... So any ideas what gives that aroma to her, I want to buy it for mine!
What do you all use & where do you get it? I usually just use Groomers Black coat shampoo & a general shampoo for my fawns.
Oh I cant stop sniffing her & its staying on her and she has been two long walks!
Grans Baby girl is now fixed to me!!

I'm sure the groomers would be delighted to tell you what they use and its origin!..............practically every groomer has their own preference for products

ha ha she is going back she torments mine with her sleek everlasting running and my little haggises find her bemusing but maybe mine can smell like her!
called the groomer and the receptionist says it more likely to be a finishing spray but their are so many and the girl is off till next Tuesday, so cant tell me what one it is.

Interestingly I spoke to someone the other day who had to ask her groomer not to put smelly on her dog, the last time the dog had been to the groomers the smell caused problems for the dogs owners breathing.  What on earth must this do to a dogs breathing. After all dogs should smell like dogs.  When needs must and I have to bath mine (myself) the first thing they want to do is roll to get a decent smell on/off thenselfs.

I searched every where for a nice smelling dog shampoo! Couldn't find one that was of a normal price! So my miley (who is short haired) is bathed once a month or once every six weeks in Herbal Essences! As soon as she is dry she smells Gorgeous! Good luck x

My old groomer used to give a little squirt of 'perfume' before Fred left. It was called CK9 :-)  Smelt absolutely beautiful. I'm sure you'd be able to order it online but obviously have no idea if that was the smellt you smelt.

I mostly use an almond shampoo on my dogs and my clients' dogs, it reminds me of marzipan which I adore, and it's also great for silky coats. I don't use that doggy perfume though, can't stand the stuff! :-D

Our groomers use a doggy perfume from a little bottle (which you can buy from them), smelled really nice but .... they put it on our dog as well as our bitch it was kinda weird as he now smelled quite girly. :)
