My dog Vic has just snapped a wasp in the garden and got stung on his lower lip. He doesn't seem bothered at all but his lip looks swollen and sore, should I just leave him to it or is there anything I can do to ease it?

I believe you can give piriton if the swelling is a problem but check first by searching hrear on other posts as to the amounts. If it is not bothering him I would leave it but keep an eye on him incase the swelling increases and becomes a problem. My dog used to snap at flies and wasps as if it were a hobby !lol once or twice got stung but was fine. They do worry you.

I know this cos we were at the vets the other day! He's 24.6 kg :)

My 30Kgs Boxer has 2 x 2 piriton tablets daily when needed

if boxa crazy gives 2 a day fine you'll be ok giving vic one to help the swelling.
