Topic Dog Boards / Showing / NFC at Champ shows

Does anyone know, if say I am entered at a Champ show on Pastoral/Working day - is it allowed to enter a dog NFC that is from a different Group?  (just don't want to leave one at home all day).

yes you can, it may not be benched with your other breed though.

Wow, that was quick!  So where would it's bench be then?

When I have done it with Higham Press - same group but different breeds, one NFC, they just benched them together for me. :-)

Thanks - I will just request that they are benched together I think.  Although it is a different Group to what is on the day, maybe they won't allow it.

I thought that providing the dog is KC registered it doesn't matter what day it can be entered NFC and benched next to your entered dog. Well that's how i've read it..

Well, as long as you can take them, that's the main thing!  That's something I wasn't sure about, thought maybe it was dogs of the Groups being judged only, so at least I can enter NFC.

im sure I read somewhere that if its of a different breed they may not be benched together ....... but then I do have baby much brain at the mo !

> they may not be benched together

Yes, they say that, possibly in case they can't etc - but in practice - and I did this NFC at a few shows - they always benched them side by side. :-)
