Im going Friday, watching all my friends in the ring with their dogs will be round the viszla, Wire haired viszla,Akita and German wirehaired pointer, wiemie and pointer rings
rjs, I'm in the same ring ;-) but the breed before you, so will look out for you :-) Chance is in Open Dog, but I will be with friends with bitches so there will a few of us panicking :-D Oh, and don't worry too much about the poles. I think we've all run into them at some point :-)

If experienced folk are panicking, goodness knows what I will be doing! I'm dreading those poles, almost ran out of the ring last weekend as I was concentrating on my boy keeping his head up and didn't see the rope. It was his first outdoor show and was expecting him to put his nose to the ground. I suppose the poles are bigger and easier to see but ....
Were you at Tay Valley a couple of weeks ago? There were Munsterlanders next to us there.

I stear well clear of the poles after an altercation with them lol
Ollie's 1st champ show as a Minor Puppy (WHY is it always Ollie lol.. ) he was moving beautifully.. I saw the pole, made a mental note to alter my triangle slighly to avoid it.. Ollie perfect trot by my side.. THEN.. something caught his eye at ringside, and he swooped over, I went one way round the pole, He went the other.. Lead stopped us both dead in our tracks, Ollie stood still while I did a sommersalt over him.. then he thought I was on the ground to play.. mortified.. I dusted myself down, and continued on towards judge, with Ollie bouncing his little socks off.. :-) :-)
We will be in the Lab ring tomorrow, with The Bogeyman, Hannah and Nora..
No, I wasn't at Tay Valley. SKC is the first show this year as I am having car problems and can't get to any ;-)
We all panic about the poles, you would think they could do something about it, wouldn't you? You never know which side to go round :-D It was rather nice being indoors last year.
