Just a quick question to all you doggie people.
I have just been contacted by a company called Oscars Dog Food who want to come round my house and prove to me how good their food is.
I have never heard of them , but has anyone heard of them or using their food?

Hi Deary,
Oscar`s dog food has been around for quite some time
I don`t think you can buy it from pet stores or at least you couldn`t when I was involved in the pet food business.
I think it might be a franchise or sold through agents.
If my memory serves me right it was one of the complete foods with no additives etc.

I used to use it and it is quite a good food. They always sell via Franchises and not through shops.

Hi Sam
It is a franchise business.
A couple in our village started selling it about 18 months ago. They asked me if they could come over for a free demo, they came over with an electric dog weigher and all the bumpf.
It looked OK, but quite expensive for my giants, and as I am more than happy with Gilbertson and Paige foods (quality and price) I didn't buy any. :)
I think they do a very extensive range and sell toys, bowls etc as well, bit like a mobile pet shop really. The couple are still doing it so they must have a reasonable customer base.

Well the chap came and i must admit it looks quite good food but very expensive when you have large breeds, they say no additives and you lot are quite right when you say that it cannot be bought in shops.
But i think that i will stick to what works for me
Sam
