Please please tell me that their are mad obsesive fans of his out there, i just cant get enough of him and would leave home for him (i know he would'nt want me) i have his cds and going to see him in concert i 2 weeks, i cant wait, i just think he's so sexy,, wish i was a teenager so i could posters of him on my bedroom wall.. xx
I am a great John Barrowman fan, although really I am old enough to know better. I saw him on his tour last year and have tickets to see him again on 24th May. I also saw him many years ago in Anything Goes. His concert last year was superb. He was on-stage for most of the evening and sang lots of songs and was very chatty as you can imagine. Some fans, not me I hasten to add, took him gifts and he requested that people shouldn't do that, if they wanted to they could always give a donation to a rescue dog charity. So whilst I am probably not 'mad obsessive' I am a great fan.
Enjoy the concert, what date are you going.

I have to turn the television on to another channel when he is on, sorry can't stand him.
If you are female I am afraid you are in with no chance..........;)
im going to see him on the 18th may at birmingham sympony hall, cant wait.
who is he? have i missed somthing shall do a goggle
> who is he? have i missed somthing shall do a goggle

Well tessiebest i agree with you,i think he is lovely, what a waste of a lovely man.
oh i know now, just didn't know his name i'd have a go at converting him LOL
Is he Captain Jack in Torchwood? Didn't know he was a crooner

Is there anymore room on the cheeseboard?

yep, and he's loverly :)

I'd rather endure Chinese water torture than watch him, he's so unsincere and full of himself.
He's the only person i've seen with whiter teeth than Simon Cowell !!!!

He will have a go at any thing he has true gutts and yeah what a waste !

I really like him too :-D His show on a Saturday is really good and oh yes what a waste<sigh> My next rat will be called Captain Jack ;-)

Didn't have a clue who everyone was talking about, so just had a look on youtube. Lovely voice, talented guy. But,,,,,,, story of my life. All the really nice ones are married, and their wives won't let them go, or,,,,,,, they already have boyfriends. ;-)

I reckon it's good to have a dream! (doubt any of our 'celeb' likes are going to be reciprocated but we can still admire!) Now I'll have to look up whether Mr Barrowman will be in concert near me anytime soon....
> He wont fancy ANY of you - so quit dreaming and look at the men in your life!!! ;-)
but he's at home, i can't look at him :)
though i much prefer him to john barrowman and indeed anyone (well...maybe about equal with gerard butlar lol)

Now Christine I have never claimed to have any taste at all, in fact I have absolutely none. (I'm still rather keen on David Essex as well!)
Edited to add: good taste when choosing OH of course which is the main thing!!
>Who cares?! He is still hot - and talented! His orientation makes no difference to that!
Fair point. :-) Gay men can also be very masculine and powerful. John Barrowman's
very handsome! And the oddest thing is to hear him and David Tennant talking together, both with their natural Scottish accents! Very bizarre!

I used to like him but he is really going OTT these days and I now cannot stand him. Sounds a bit of a perv with some of the things he's been doing lately though!

I thought he was Canadian listening to him. Heard him talking on a programme where he spoke to his mother and this broad Scottish accent came out. I was amazed. He lives here in South Wales! He did have a flat in Cardiff Bay but he has a place in Sully now I hear. Saw him in Borders! (:-) smug grin)

I always thought he was American and from looking through his website he was born in Scotland but moved with his family to the States when he was young, hence the accent i've only heard.
From reading through he was 8 when they moved out there.
A lot of my family are from Scotland, but no offence not sure if i would find him quite so attractive with a Scottish accent.. I do agree he is very hot...

:-D :-D I am a lady on the far side of 40 happily married and crazy about my hubby, but believe me he once winked at me and I turned into an embarrassing mass of jelly, I was so mad with myself, but he has it! The fact is gay or straight he's unobtainable as are most celebs so what does it matter they easily become fantasies. Not that I do fantasize about him, shuffles off quietly. :-D :-D

I'm wrong side of 40 and I like him! Gay or not you can find someone attractive doesn't mean I want to run off and wed every man I find attractive straight or gay and doesn't mean I love my husband less?
oh wow thanks you guys, so im not alone, ive been happily married for 25yrs,, but i can still window shop cant i, my hubby justs smiles and leaves me to drool, bless him,
and i love it when he speaks scottish mmmmmm here i go again, hellllllllllllpppppppppppppppp

Actually he's a really nice guy - he has Cocker Spaniels (and a JRT) and judged our breed forum photo competition last year, going out of his way to help, donating signed CDs etc (without being asked either).

That is nice to hear. I think the image he portrays on Jonathan Ross show for instance is playing up to a certain image that he thinks the audience wants to see - someone a bit outrageous - an act if you like - he has overdone it a few times. I like his singing voice too (although I wouldn't actually go to watch him unless he was in a musical) - he is a good all-rounder who has been lucky enough to 'make it' with the character Captain Jack. So many actors just sit there in the background waiting for their big chance.

I've met him

:-D :-D
Was just walking from a carpark in Cardiff to the shops, turned a corner ....... and there he was

fully made up and dressed for Torchwood, sitting on the drop down of the back of a BBC costume/make-up trailer - no one else about

Of course being super-cool I walked past with OH pretending we hadn't noticed, then about 20 yards on I wondered what I was thinking of - son was a massive fan of Cap'n Jack in Dr Who and here was a golden opportunity to get an autograph. So we walked (OK Ran!) back and ended up having a long chat with him, he actually started laughing when we got back :-D so I asked him if he'd been counting :-D We had a lovely chat and he was happy to give an autograph.
Much more handsome than on TV

very approachable and likes to laugh :) good job OH was with me ... ;)

So that's 2 people met him in the flesh and said he's nice :-)
