Just wanted to wish Merlot a very Happy Birthday, hope she had a great day, and knowing what we are like with our Berners was very spoilt too.
Will you be going to the Garden Party on sunday? I've just managed to get another weekend off so will be heading up there, know some of Merlots current babies will be there so can't wait to see them..

Merlot had a lovley Birthday thanks, she has asked me to send her love. I have told her now I am not letting her have any more... "5" ...years old now, where do the years go to? I cannot even think about how old she is..It upsets me too much, why oh why do dogs have such a short time with us?
It seemed like only yesterday she was an unruley puppy and now here she is a proud Mum and a Champ to boot.
My girlies are getting older, Pepsi, Merl's mum is 7 now and Treacle is 7 in 3 weeks. Does anyone else hate dog birthdays as much as me?

When you think of it like that Aileen its not good..
I hate of them getting older as no dogs life on this earth is long enough, regardless of breed.

Just enjoying every moment you have with them and making sure you have a loving fulfilled life together while they are around is all that a dog could ask for..They repay us back in bucketloads, more so than we can ever repay them, well thats how i feel..

Is Merlot going to the Southern Champ Show?? I want to give her a huge hug!!!

Happy birthday Merlot.  My Berner is nearly two and it has absolutely flown by, can honestly say he's the best thing that has happened to me (hope my husband doesn't join this site) !! And its thanks to you Merlot's mum for giving me the introduction to his breeder. x
