I think we've all been there at one time or another.... They say 'Its doesn't rain,but it pours'
  But have you ever had one of those torrential downpours,black clouds, no end in sight and your up to your neck in the muddy flood waters wondering if you've even got the strength to pull yourself out this time!....

So I'm recruiting for a crack team of members.. willing to brave flood waters,GSOH (a must!), good at baking cakes (even more of a must!) able to share chocolate (ok.. I can forgive a slight hesitation here!) and with big waterproof shoulders!!

The mission:- (should you choose to accept)
One of our members Dawn 'Newfiedreams' is stuck out there in swirling flood waters as I type, and you know what its like when things start getting you down, you off load on friends.. but then when life really keeps throwing more and more at you to deal with, you feel you can't keep going on..or pretending your ok... and so you retreat bottle it in and slowly start sinking!
   Truly she's had more than is fair for one person to deal with.... and we all know what force of Nature Newf is!! :-D so for her to be felled by this really shows what a poop time she's having :(

He would of been a very lucky dog to have shared such a wonderful life with you and as we know not all dogs have such wonderful experiences. I lost a boy at 18 months old and it took me a long time to smile at the good memories, but they will come in time. you,re heart will mend, but in the mean time be kind to yourself. Can all dogs swim - well not mine!

Connor once jumped in a pool having misjudged the depth and proceeded to flail his paws around in a near drowning look until I heaved him out.

I thought perhaps Max liked water slightly more so at the Kent Fair this weekend they had dash and splash (whilst I had no visions of Max being capable of jumping in at length after a poxy (his view not mine) tennis ball - thought would see if he could indeed swim.    Managed to get him in with the woman (which he was not sure about at all!) well the drama was hysterical - similar scenario to wee Connor in his previous 'swim' experience - legs and paws splashing about frantically - despite the woman supporting him - he was having none of it at all!!!  wish had videod.

Maybe if I had felt the need to get in too - but even then I don't think the setter brain was able to trigger doggy paddle!

Watching the other dogs they were all naturals - I know setters can swim but guess its my numpties that can't :)
