Thanks for all your advice, i think i will call the Vet and ask whether i should postpone his 2nd vacs til poo back to normal.

He went earlier (after his lunch) which looked normal at first, then went a bit slimey at the end, then he strained to go twice more and just a tiny bit of slime came out.  I am hoping that this is his system clearing itself and that the pesky worms are all dead/coming out.  Gross!

Now am waiting for him to go after his dinner, never thought i would be so concerned and worried about a dog's bowel movements!

I never really thought about this until discussing DS's bowel movements with his consultants (Lack 3/4 of his colon owing to Operations, and ongoing problems)  and they are soooo squeamish :-D :-D   I can just tell they don't own dogs :-D :-D

its amazing how squeemish folk are isn't it? i have an illness that makes such things a topic for discussion as well and goodness people freak out when you mention the slightest thing lol.

It's very entertaining watching them squirm :-D :-D

Oh, I know where you're coming from - I have a 2 year old little boy (prone to being constipated) and a dog (prone to loose poos) so am constantly watching nappies and the patches of grass the dog squats on lol!!
