Hi,if they are eating well and are healthy and happy I would not worry too much. Do they clear the dishes every time?If so I would offer them a bit more.I have a a litter that are 7 weeks and they have over last few days been eating really well. The little girls favourite pastime is eating at min! She's first in and last out lol Also I dont think its good for puppies to be too fat.

yes they are all healthy and do clear the tray very quickly lol they go fat as they have full tummies but then skinny again but they are getting taller typical of the breed.

I always give enough food so that there is a little left after each meal for Mum to clear.

If they are clearing the tray very quickly then I would say that you are not feeding them enough. I like to have a little bit of food left after every feed, which I leave down for 15 mins or so, then I know that everyone has had enough. I don't like to see a feeding frenzy, but I like to see them eating with enthusiasm.  How many times a day are you feeding them? I would be feeding 4 - 5 times a day at 7 weeks.

May I ask what product were they wormed with?

Do they live in or out?

I would also give more food, I like to see chubby puppies.

a liquid puppy wormer havent got it to hand. they live in . i am feeding them they have put on a little weight

I like to ring the changes with wormers.

I'm glad the pups are putting on weight, I like mine to be chubby at 8-10 weeks as they usually take a growth spurt at around 10 weeks and a slim pup can look very scrawny at that time.

At 6 weeks I like my puppies quite chubby.  Any problems, and they have reserves - which I think they should have at this age.  I would be adding another 2 meals a day - fish, scrambled egg, chicken breast - any protein feed. Although I always have the freezer stocked with white fish for them, I do buy the tinned pilchards in spring water too, Sainsbury's own make.  The kisses I get after stink a bit, but they wag their tails like mad when I put it down!  :-)
