Hi, my puppies are now 2 weeks old. We had a difficult start but since then every thing as been going weel untill the other day when the puppies started being sick and doing realy sloppy yellow smells like death poos. Obviously they have been to the vet and they have been given synulox drops. They have now stopped being sick and they are very content and eating well started walking about and every thing but they are still doing these horrid poos. Has anybody got any advise that may help?

The Synulox can have disturbed their normal gut flora. You can try giving each pup a little bit of live yogurt to lick  as that could help and should be safe enough even at 2 weeks.

How is your bitch? If she has a tummy upset as well she could be passing it to her babies via her milk,especially as she is cleaning up after them.Did your vet give her antibiotics as well? Again this could be having an adverse affect on the puppies.

Bella (mum)is fine, she was checked over by the vet but was not given any medication. Her poo's are nice and poo like lol

Well they love the yogurt!!! Any advice on when they will be old enough to have a bath as they stink like little sewer rats lol

Hi Wendy, you can use baby wipes on them,wont get them summer fresh clean but will help a bit LOL

yeah baby wipes are ok to use get them smelling a bit sweeter lol :)
