Every day i've been checking the BBC online weather forecast for my area(Brighton) and each day Sunday show's something different, it started out being a rainy day and then went through to being sunshine and cloud and then a really sunny day, today we are back to a rainy day.. How can they keep getting this wrong for a forecast, that is some major differences in there.
Then again they forecast rain the other day and we had sunshine and light cloud.
Anyone know of a weather forecast which is a bit more reliable?
I almost give up now, i mean the Met office were that bad they didn't even forecast the hurricane in 1997 correctly did they??

Hi, we always use the met office site
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/ for the forecast.
Like to know that when we send the racing pigeons on race day they are going to have a good chance of clear skies to get home.
The weather maps can change for the coming days but it is usually only very slightly.
Joan

Today was supposed to be pouring it down according to the TV and GMTV all week then today they said bright sunshine could be in the 70's. Seems the weather people are rubbish at predicting weather these days!

Pah 20 degrees, the sea mist is right in now. Just got back from Hassocks only a few miles away and lovely sunshine, warm but not hot!!
Think will go back there again after lunch to get the pup out and about, lets hope the mist doesn't get the other side of the downs..

The farming forecasts are meant to be good but i've never listened to one so can't give a personal recommendation .
I always try to catch the forecast on Countryfile if i can .

Countryfile is a week ahead forecast by the BBC, you'd think and hope that what they are saying reflects on their website??
Its what my Dad watches and checks for the week, but as we all know that the weather changes so quickly in this country and just wondered is it really that easy to predict and we are asking too much from the Met office?
