Hello, I have a 3 year old CKCS with fly catcher syndrom he is on phenobarbital twice daily which has helped some what, I have also read that a low protein diet will help. I just done a quick google search and found this food ( Bozita Robur ) and was just wondering if anyone on here has used this food and is it a good food?
Thank you.

Hi,

Not something I've used but click on the blue link to view an old thread with others discussing it... Bozita Robur until anyone else comes along to comment.

Hope this helps some :)

Bozita is not a low protein diet.

Any moist/wet food is at least 75% water, so to get to the actual protein level in the product you multiply the protein percentage by 4.  The actual protein in Bozita is at least 40%, assuming from the link above the stated protein on the can is 10%.

I would rely on your vet in terms of whether or not a low protein diet will help or not.

I have used it on my dogs but it is high in protein and the were a bit hyper, i switched back to Arden Grange because i didnt think it was worth the extra cost.

I also found they had large smelly poo's with it.

Hope this helps
