i will keep an eye out for you but spend most of the day cheering everyone on...so the best of luck and have a great day

Good luck Lea and to anyone else who is running/jogging/walking it tomorrow.

I will one day get round to doing it myself, 26miles isn't too far, even at walking pace. Was in training last year for Trailwalker and most days we ended up doing 20mile walks, so an extra 6 miles would be fine after immense training for a few months.

Best of luck, and if you bump into Pete Murphy.... he is running for the flatcoat cancer tumour survey.....

Are you going to wear anything distinctive so we can spot you in the crowds?

Its our local charity walk next weekend forty miles from Keswick to Barrow a few of my friends and workmates are running or walking it, its going to cost a  fortune in sponsorship money.

Congratulations Lea! :-) and look what a pace!
- By Lokis mum [gb] Date 27.04.09 15:46 UTC
Lea, Karen was less than 1 minute ahead of you - she was 4.44 mins.   Her dad is chuffed though - she didn't beat his time when he ran (which must be about 25 years ago) - he ran 2 minutes faster.

But you all did so well!!

Margot x
