I recently have had laminate flooring put down and as of yet I havent found a floor cleaner that I am happy with. They all seem to leave smear marks. Just wondered if anyone has any recommendations or tips on keeping it looking good.

I use Dr Beckmann cleaner, brings my floor up nice and shiny, although I have a mid oak distressed effect laminate so it doesn't show streaks as easily as the lighter colours.

I have laminate & use normal floor cleaner in water (Flash or similar, whichever scent catches my fancy!), but I always wash the floor on my hands and knees (wash a bit, dry it off, wash the next bit) rather than with a mop, and when drying I always rub with the grain along each strip, that way any smears don't show :) For spot-cleaning inbetween washes I use a baby wipe (I always have baby wipes 'in stock', they come in handy for lots of things!).

I just use the Mr Sheen orange laminate floor cleaner and like it.  I never over wet the floor. I have oak effect so it doesn't show up every mark. I use floor cleaner wipes in between.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 In my previous house I had cherry coloured laminate and when our then pup peed i used biological washing liquid but it removed all the sheen making the floor look very dull.

I use a Flash Power Mop - it has a spray to deliver the cleaning fluid and disposable pads :)   OH has doctored the cleaning fluid bottle so I can use ordinary flash or a dedicated laminate cleaner diluted in the spray.  It works a treat and never over-wets the floor.  No streaks and it dries in minutes :-D

I use the laminate floor cleaner from Lakeland, this one. In between times I use Flash.
