Just thinking if this site is so terrible how come we are all so there for each other. I have never met any of you (except Kelly) but I feel I know everyone and share in their triumphs and tragedies. Perhaps I am a sad person tho'

I don't think your sad and I don't think this board is bad. I don't pop in as often as I used to but when I do I always feel I can join in whenever and ask for help whenever.

Anne, you've confused me....who says the site is terrible in the first place????
Speaking as someone who's very lonely for English speakers, I think it's marvelous :) :) Everything has its moody ups and downs, esp. when humans are involved

Well I think this site is wonderful, No one really knows me, in fact when I registered, didnt really know what I was doing, so there is nothing in my profile about me, I have posted on things I do know about, to help other people, but when something happened to me, which I have never experienced, and I needed help, I found everyone to be amazing, I am indebted for all the advice and the well wishes that I have had on here and those who sent e mails seperately, I hadnt read the posts on eating poo, so when I read that something nasty on there, went to have a look, and its gone....

I'm glad its gone and I know we're not supposed to reply to them but that little divil on my shoulder just taps out the words :D
Anne

Anne,
THis is a silly question but you were not in the dentist in Leslie last week were you?
I was in there and I heard this lady talking about her dogs and I was dying to say" Hey who are you" LOL but I didn't.
It is a very good way of comunicating I think. We all share a common interest.
Pam :-)

Hi Pam,
Just as well you didn't as it wasn't me, and she might have thought you strange although if she was a dog person maybe not. I have become a well known sight in Leslie over the years first with a Beagle, then Boxer and Beagle, next Boxers and Beagle, followed by just Boxers, then Beardie and Boxers, then Beardies then Beardies and Neardie and now just Beardies. I think the one locals probably thought was strangest was the Siamese sitting on my shoulder on the bus. Perhaps notorious or imfamous would be a better description, if you see someone with a clipped slate Beardie and a furry brown Beardie that's me

So if the dog breed starts with a "B", it's likely to be you, Anne? ;) :D

As long as it is a furry brown beardie and not a furry brown beard :D :D
Liz

Sara,
I didn't set out to have 'B's it just worked out that way and some have been bigger B's than others :-D Even the Neardie was a BeardiexBorder, oh well at least I'm sticking to one letter and not working through the alphabet;-)

LOL Anne,
I know it was a daft question but sometimes chance meetings..
Thsi lady was talking about ehr dogs, rabbits etc and she has just booked a newfie so she is an animal lover indeed. She had some sort of Bank uniform I think.
Oh well never mind you never know who you meet in the dentist.
BFN Pam :-)

Nope, definately not sad!
I enjoy the contact and I've learned a lot, and hopefully helped out some as well. ;)
And yes, I feel like I *know* everyone too. Although I haven't met anyone. (My mate Ruee has met Fiona though) :D
Nicky

Anne , I don't think we are sad ...just a little community :) Ive been lucky enough to meet several Chamdoggers so far ..all of them a nice bunch (with the exception of David Boreanez hating people - not looking at ANYONE in particular of course :D ) LOL
It's nice to post on here when we've had a little triumph or a major catastrophe and have people either congratulate or commiserate :)
I liked the little ecard you sent when my sofa finally arrived ;)

Speaking of which Melody --How is it going with paw marks etc and hairs ?
Liz

We have begun putting the Thug into the kitchen when we go out ...you have never SEEN anything so pathetic as Hudson when he realises he is going to be put in there :D Whilst we were out the other week he *found* my brand new PS2 and shredded the box (thankfully not the machine itself!!) so that AND the new sofa was what prompted his banishment :D
So far there are no paw marks OR too many hairs ..I have covers over the washable covers so I can chuck them into the washer quickly :D
Melody - Who gets the feeling she is pushing her luck now ;)

One of the great delights of this site is that................................................................................................................................................you can be silly on it.
:D :D :D :D :D
I think Melody's description of it being like a little community here is really nice - and very true.
When I first discovered that my pup had bad knees I didn't cope with it very well - but everything changed when I found this forum. It made me realise that things happen for a reason and good CAN come out of bad. :)
