I've got 2 miniature poodles (5 if you count the rest of the family) and 2 gerbils (Emmaline and Jasmine).

*quietly hijacks thread*(most terrifying experience of my life was when on the Aberfoyle dog track, there were thousands and thousands of wee baby frogs migrating from one side of the track to the other.  I was scared to move in case I stepped on one.  So cute)

Well back up to five Norwegian Elkhound bitches, went down to 3 at one point when I lost the two eldest.

Now the girls range from 8 months to 11 1/2 years.

Are we counting all pets? In which case I have 3 toads, an unknown number of smooth and palmate newts, 5 hens and 3 cockerels and two call ducks coming next week.  Partridge in pear tree coming soon!

It's my entire life, I do nothing else at all. :) Even so there's 2 more of us here -my husband who does work but helps out a lot when he is home (he says he has to go to work for a rest!), and my adult step son who also does his share. I don't think I'd ever cope on my own!

We had OES for nearly 30 years - fabulous dogs (hardly any health problems either), but unfortunately I'm all brushed out now :-O, hence our smooth coated breed.

Also we have 4 dogues, not sure if I registered them. Looking at the original date, I know I didn't register them!

I have a cross breed..... Bichon x maltese and he's just great no health problems and very happy and well.
