Well done - big whoooops :) :) :)

My daughter passed her just under 2 weeks ago - we've been doing a LOT of car hunting since (hmmmm.  there's always a down side :-p )

Edited to apologise to Teri for clicking on reply to her by mistake - must get the hang of this board!!!!

Many congratulations, it is a wonderful feeling isn't it.

I passed my motorbike test 2 years ago today, which means from today I can ride anything I can touch the ground on!!!!! However at only 5ft 2 I am restricted somewhat - much to the OH's delight, he doesn't want me "nicking" his bike!

well done,im about to start lessons as dawn drives everywhere and im often available to do shows and we cant go as dawn cant get the time off.so im being "forced" to learn although it will mean me and timo can do loads more shows! the downside is i will be learning in central london-dawn says if you can drive here you can drive anywhere so maybe a good thing! the aa driving school reckon 25 hours of lessons to pass,so we will see.i still cant get over how people manage to drive at all,im that mistified, although i have been watching road wars(cop fly on wall show)so can mount kerbs and crash into front gardens! (only joking) roy.

>the aa driving school reckon 25 hours of lessons to pass

That's what my instructor told me when I started to learn a few years back.  I took 22 and passed :-)  Best thing I ever did and I really regret not doing it sooner.  Get behind that wheel and get motoring! :-)

Fantastic, well done to you! It's a great feeling isn't it and you'll have so much freedom now and lots of road trips going to all those shows :-)

And of course, all the best drivers past first time ;-)
- By Dill [gb] Date 16.04.09 21:01 UTC
Well done - the freedom of the 'open road' is now yours LOL - if you can find an open road these days :-D
