Hi Everyone
my old Karcher pressure washer has given up & I need to get another to cope with the concrete base of the dog run. It needs to be a fairly 'beefy' model that will be used on a regular basis. Would like to keep price around £100 mark.
Any suggestions/recommendations?
Thankyou.

I've always preferred Karcher - IMO they're the best on the domestic market for the price point.  You should be able to find some good deals on line for various models.

The downside of trying to compare like for like in larger retail/DIY outlets is that they tend to give different model numbers exclusive to each chain so I'd recommend you compare the individual features for each on-line and not just prices.  You may find you get extras such as lances etc that make one a better buy than another too.

regards, Teri

Hi,
I have always thought you get what you pay for, however I was at a trade day with a Draper tools rep and he told me that some cheaper pressure washers manufacturers place plastic grommets inside so that the washers break after x amount of hours.

Thankyou for all the info. Kay, I clicked on the link you gave & this comany is about 10 miles from me so I'll find out if I can go take a look at some. They also sell other stuff & I was intrigued to see a broom head for sale costing about £150! Yikes, would be too scared to use it! My original choice of pressure washer was a "Challenge" 2000w from Argos at just under £80 but its not in stock anywhere.
