my little girl came was very swollen and i assumed she had came into her 1st season ,she is really swollen up but there is no blood at all , when she was 2weeks into season i took her to the vets he prescribed 5 day course of noroklav, i have given her this to her but she is still really swollen and it feels hard to touch anyone got any ideas what is wrong? thanks
She could be having a dry season, where no blood is seen at all. First seasons can be different from a normal season. It is possible for her to be in season for more than the usual 3 weeks. She would only be soft and spongey when she is ready to mate, so I wouldn't be too worried if she is still hard.

...or, she could just be preparing for her season. One of my girls gets incredibly swollen about a month before there is actually any blood. Day one of her season is when the first spot of blood is seen.
hi yes i will keep an eye on her just incase she comes back into season..

No no, I think Yad36 means that she probably HASN'T actually started her season yet and is just preparing to do so. You don't say they're "in season" until you see the first drop of blood - ok so she may have had a silent season but they are so uncommon I would just presume she is still in preparation of coming in.
