Has anyone heard of this breed. It could be an American name and known by another name here. Looks a bit like a border collie but seems to be of easier temperament. Any information would be gratefully recieved.

Scotch Collie if i am not mistaken is the name that the Rough Collie often used to be known by (as in Lassie). collies come in Rough and Smooth. There are also Shetland sheepdogs, Border Collies, and Bearded Collies, all hailing from Scotland or the Border counties.
