Dipped your toe in the water now then!! Don't worry it will all be fine. Just have a great day and enjoy it. I shall be there but on Working day of course. Got lots of time to work hard at your ringcraft...but don't overdo it to the piont at were he gets bored!!! Little and often is the key.
Will I see you at Ringcraft this week ???

This will be the first time we will be doing this show :)
Its a long way to go, normally we go within a 90 minute drive! But thought we would venture further afield this year, seeing as we now have 4 dogs to show and won't be taking them all at once, (except for B'ham National)  so need to add a few more shows to our list  :)

Anyone going on working day, please feel free to come and say 'Hello' :)

Actually i have a bit of a deal going with the driving instructor, (nothing Dodgy!! LOL) he is a good friend of mine and i look after his Springer when he goes away, for discount lessons....so worked out well for me, not so for him having to teach me to drive LOL :)

Hi Dee
hoping to be there too,  If I went with your 90 min rule would just manage Darlo and Driffield, and Driffield's out this year cos of the judge lol.

Can someone tell me please what the parking arrangements are like at Bath? Is it like border union where you park behind the benches or more like Malvern where theres a hike from the car to the benches?

thanks

Barbara

Similar walk as WELKS, it's a field next to the showground.  OK if you get there early but as it's a large field it's a bit of a hike if you are late.

Last year it was a fantastic, sunny & hot, Saturday for us - but very windy.

Hi B
it will be nice to see a friendly face :) and I think Caroles going aswell :)
Yep Malvern and Stafford are the furthest we travel for shows - Helen did Builth Wells last year but I didn't go

Is anyone staying with their caravan or motorhome. Last year we stayed with the caravan but didnt know anyone - it would be nice to meet up with some people.

Well done and good luck!

We consider Bath to be our anniversary show as it was the first one we entered the showing world with.
This will be the start of the fourth year for us.  I think we may squeak in an entry as it's probably the only one we will do this year.  Our bitch is coming up to season just after the show and she will be mated.

Plan for rain and be pleasantly surprised if it stays dry! :)  Hopefully they will have the same setup they had last year and have pathways laid so you aren't up to your eyes in muck and mud!
- By selgovae [gb] Date 05.04.09 18:47 UTC
sorry to be a pain about this....I hate going to shows for the first time, .....whats the set up for the rings, are they like stafford half in half out or are they outside with wet weather tenting?

thanks
Barbara
- By Plushpup [gb] Date 05.04.09 19:35 UTC
Last year they changed the tenting to the ones with no sides and half in half out.  There was more room then under the previous set up from previous years.  It was wet and windy last year, so the benching about 4-5 in got a bit damp.
But the over all improvement were the pathways laid down.  No more getting bogged in the mud with crates and the dogs has some terra firma to walk on.

thats great thanks
