We are going to my inlaws- they booked us like back in February lol I thought that was weird- but what ever :-)
- By Lokis mum [gb] Date 02.04.09 11:49 UTC
We have 3 lots of visitors, coming to see us in our new home - they've all seen it just as we moved in - boxes everywhere - and now I want to just put the finishing touches to the rooms we have done, so they can see the difference!

So it will be lovely walks along the beaches & pub lunches - weather permitting :)

I have been trying to arrange a 'get together' of previous litters I've bred.  I can't believe the response so we're having walks on Good Friday and Easter Monday - really looking forward to seeing some of my progeny again.

Plus son is playing in a football Cup Final Good Friday evening.

Other than that it will probably be gardening etc if weather fine.
- By newfiedreams Date 02.04.09 12:43 UTC
Do you want to rent my Greek house? :-)
- By rachelsetters Date 02.04.09 12:51 UTC
Sue - don't forget to invite me for puppy cuddles :)
- By rachelsetters Date 02.04.09 12:53 UTC
We too have Hampshire Gundog on the Monday - but its more than 10 mins for us :)  Will come and see you and bump Claire :)

Hope to be resting the rest as been working far too hard - lots of overtime money though!
- By bostontea [gb] Date 02.04.09 13:14 UTC
Gardening and a spring tidy for us too...we're going away this weekend instead, to a nice dog-friendly hotel in Stirling. We're bringing a doggy backpack so we can hopefully sneak the wee fella into the castle!
- By suejaw Date 02.04.09 13:24 UTC

> don't forget to invite me for puppy cuddles :-)

Don't worry i won't. Not long before he'll start ringcraft either.

MH - getting another male who will be 8 weeks nearly.

really two people who like him? wow i think hes a horrible man and not funny at all :(
- By Granitecitygirl [eu] Date 02.04.09 14:05 UTC
Mahonc, I think he's vile too.  You'll be glad to know he has stormed off stage in Scotland a couple of times now because he can't deal with a Scottish audience ;-)  He doesn't get us like we don't get him.
- By mahonc Date 02.04.09 14:07 UTC
hee hee how funny. Although i cant get my head around the scots accent myself. i have to put subtitles on when the OH wants to watch taggart, and i had a lady travel from kilmarnock for a pup last year and i had to keep saying pardon? sorry? pardon? must have thought deaf old bat.....

Hi Cava14Una

> I'm being received into the Catholic Church

how lovely :)  I can't think of a more appropriate way to spend Easter Sunday.

very best wishes, Teri x
- By Teri Date 02.04.09 14:57 UTC
We'll settle for the sun hopefully remaining as good as it is today at our usual retreat :)

TBH, I like it so much there I don't mind what the weather is like as we have everything from highest SPF and T-shirts to woolies, wellies and waterproofs LOL - just getting the chance to escape for a few days and let the dogs enjoy early morning / late evening romps in the sea makes such a difference.

Teri :)
- By Cava14Una Date 02.04.09 15:35 UTC
Thank you Teri

It's actually at Vigil Mass on Saturday evening but I will be going to Mass on Sunday too.

I've been attending classes all winter and have really enjoyed them
- By newfiedreams Date 02.04.09 16:03 UTC Edited 02.04.09 16:06 UTC
I think he's(Chubby Upchucker!) absolutely DISGUSTING!!! I can't imagine anyone enjoying all the filth that comes out of his mouth! I like a comedian that can make me laugh without having to resort to disgusting language!:-(
- By MADDOG [gb] Date 02.04.09 16:43 UTC
What happend to all the cd'ers who said they'd enter the Easter Agility show at Ardingly then?!!  Muggins entered.  Only 165 in Bri's class :-D on Saturday.  Got friends & relatives for the rest of the weekend, couple of men to dump Ziggy the scaredy dog on hopefully.
- By dexter [gb] Date 02.04.09 16:48 UTC

You have a house in Greece? Lovely. How much do you usually charge? And apologies if you don't and it was a friend to friend post! lol
I hate chubby brown too. I love Billy Conolly, although his swearing makes me laugh. :)
- By ClaireyS Date 03.04.09 06:51 UTC

>What happend to all the cd'ers who said they'd enter the Easter Agility show at Ardingly then?!!

- By ClaireyS Date 03.04.09 06:56 UTC

>We are off in our caravan for easter, wareham forrest, loads of dog walking for us the weekend.

We went camping at Wareham once - I got lost in the forest for 5 hours with the dogs, OH (ex) had the campsite wardens out and everything, It was 10pm by the time I got back
- By goldie [gb] Date 03.04.09 07:39 UTC
Oh it looks like we have plenty of dog walking coming up then.
Glad they found you ClairryS or you could be still walking around the forrest.
- By ClaireyS Date 03.04.09 08:50 UTC
They didnt find me !! I found a road and managed to work my way as far as the train station where I could phone for a lift.  I carried one of my Setters for about 4 miles because he hurt his foot

Its a lovely place though, we have been back a few times since with our bikes and had some lovely weekends there (we worked out on the second time there are numbered posts so if you take note of the number nearest to where you enter the forest you should be able to find your way back.

There is a place called something bog (cant remember but you can see it on the map) its like a huge lake with all different birds on it -  a beautiful place, well worth finding.  Watch out for the cows though - you cant miss them, they wear huge bells round their necks :)
- By goldie [gb] Date 03.04.09 09:07 UTC
Ok thanks i will look out for the lake and the posts.
I will watch my young dog as well,as she likes to go on ahead when walking, and we may lose sight of her in the forrest.
Thanks for the tips.

Vanning for us to Goldie, with all 6 dogs in tow :p:
It will be the old chap Shandy's first trip, the pups are now seasoned vanners, having started last year at 12 weeks.

We're off this weekend for a trial run and to 'check all systems' as OH puts it, only going all of a couple of miles away to Wootton Bassett near Swindon so I am the butt of all jokes at work at the moment, plus the fact that we had a practice sleep in the van with all dogs last weekend :-D
- By newfiedreams Date 03.04.09 09:45 UTC
Hi, yes we really do have a house in Greece, but usually let it monthly for Euro 375 which WAS around £250 a month but now due to the exchange change is £340! We have long term tenants leaving at the end of May and we were SOPPOSED to go over ourselves to partly live there, but due to my having extremely major surgery we won't be able to go till end Aug/Sept.

If you go to my profile and go to see my photo thingy account, there's a picture there of it.
- By newfiedreams Date 03.04.09 09:47 UTC
You got a fatty tum tum!!! :-pAhh bet you can't wait?! :-)
