Would you be kind enough to use NON capitals to type in please? Some of our members find it very difficult to read in capital letters...also, in some circumstances it is deemed as 'shouting' in type talk!

Needing to be forcibly taken out to the garden to relieve herself is normal for the first few days, so don't worry about that. Just make sure she's taken at least four times a day to wee and poo before letting her dash back to her baby. It's not till the pup's about three weeks old that you'll need to start to consider the socialisation aspect of being a solo pup - in the meantime make sure he/she thrives!

Im so sorry for ur loss - The pup shouldnt suffer as he/she wont know any different, just keep a close eye on the pup,(give you're girl lots of attention as she's had a hard time) everything should be fine xx

Hi Geenie

My girl had similar- Toy breed two pups born but one died and my single pup is 5 weeks old and a rascal- I do feel a bit sorry for her and so bought her a few cuddly toy surrogate sisters that she cuddles into and climbs all over.
Other than that she is chubby as has all the milk to herself and is outgoing as because she is an only one I can have her out around my feet with mum and my other bitch more easily.
Hopefully some people with more experience can give you hints and tips but I had been worried to and all is ok

Hope that helps
