I have just recieved new Cover Note Booklet for Breeders, with a covering letter..

From 1st April 2009 Period of cover is going down to 4weeks  After this date, breeders are no longer able to give 6weeks free insurance with our pups..

Old books are to be thrown away, and new 4week cover notes to be used from 1st April

We've had the same thing at work - even vets aren't being allowed to issue the 6 week cover notes any more.

Yep me too,Ive got 2 puppies leaving in the next few days so Ive asked the owners if i can activate it today
so they get 6 weeks instead of 4,both are fine with that.

It says its so the pups are covered quicker for the sense of urgency for the new owner,personally I think it
is so petplan get their money faster.

i have always had my pups insuraed from the day i collect them as it then covers them from day one should need be.
New insurance dont pay out for to up 28 days so even though they come with the free period i always make sure they are covered twice.
