hi i have just walked my dog and she has just done a poo that looked like someone had tipped red jamon the floor im sorry if this is to much information but i was shocked  i cant get to the vets until tomorow she seems ok but has not eaten today and the vomiting she did during the night i put it down to morning sickness as she is two weeks preg has anyone had the same type of problem

well my bitch aint in whelp but same problems for me last week, vomiting and runny poo with blood in it. took her the vet he said basically tummy bug, gave her antibiotic injection and anti inflammatry injection because he said her backside was quite inflammed. Also gave her 3 days of tinned food and a paste to soothe her insides. She was miserable, She seems fine and back to her normal self today

My girl has had blood in her pooh for 2 days now. Pups r a bit loose but their pooh is like jelly (mucas like)
Had them on small bits of boiled chicken, but dosnt seem to be getting better (firmer)
Mum keeps eating the pups pooh if given half a chance (10 weeks old now) EWwww
they were wormed just b4 the runny pooh started
is a trip to the vet on the cards???

I would want to know if it's Giardia.  Take a poo sample with you.

how are the dogs did u find out what the problem was i panicked but the next morning she was back to normal the fact that they cant talk and tell you when they feel ill worries me sick and iv found out that my sister in laws pup gets the runs if he eats chicken

peacebabe, i would go the vets, maybe likemy bitch a simple antibiotic injection and she was right as can be, i was worried sick, yes my bitch was blood and sometime runny mucus type of poo, wasnt very nice watching her being like that

We had the same problem some time ago, vet prescribed 10mg Buscopan tablets twice daily..
