Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / Bones? A question for raw feeders

I have spent the last hour or so trailing round local butchers trying to find marrow bones for the kids. Finally found butcher who was just about to close he gave me a huge bag of meaty bones for 50p but not as far as I can see a long bone. They are mainly rib bones are these safe for the dogs or should I make soup?!!!!!!!!

They are safe for the dogs however you will find they can eat them more quickly than they would a marrow bone.

They are fine...my dogs love them but usually manage to eat about 90% of the bone and leave the remaining peice hidden somwhere that I will undoubtedly stand on it in bare feet...

Funny you should mention that, OH has just made plea that any uneaten bones be picked up so that he doesn't trip over them:-) I'm beginning to wonder whether he can't bend in the middle anymore. ie. Why can't he pick the bones up?

Same reason as my oh cant take his suits to the dry cleaners !!  Perhaps yours could train the dogs to put them in the bin their selves lol
