I'm going next week, looking for any tips, yes I know I am a very lucky one.
It has been a long time in the planning and I am getting really over anxious for what is only a week in the sun!

You'll love it, do you know where you are stopping off, it's a big place and so many different Islands and places to visit?

The scenery is phenominal, the people are extremely friendly, and everything is so colourful, the beaches are to die for, there is no way you will not think you are in paradise, promise you! :-)

Not sure where you are stopping off but the only thing I will say is as beautiful as much of the Caribbean is and it really is breathtaking, as with anywhere it also has it's poorer sides, they aren't afraid to show you this too on some of the taxi/bus Island tours, so be prepared for some of the trips showing you the other side too. It did feel terribly uncomfortable coming off a luxury cruise ship, and being taken to see some of the poorer areas, your definitely taken there to spend your money.

Don't forget to tip! And when on the cruise ships it can get a little windy occassionally, so take a good mixutre of clothes and enjoy all the good food.

It will be interesting to see if you can escape the Caribbean without at least one piece of hair braided. :-D

You'll love it!

Hey, its a great time of the year to be going, not a time know for rain or thunder storms.

I've been a to a few islands out there and they aren't as close together as you may think. Anyway i'm, sure you'll have a fab time, let us know where you'll be stopping and how long for..

Ach that's nowt Karen, I'm a regular at MFI, TKMAX, HMV, H&M, BHS, WHS, B&Q - OK, slightly OT :-D :-D :-D   I have a def pref for LV, NY, and NSW but I'd be more than happy to tinkle my tootsies in the Caribean - it sounds WONDERFUL

All joking aside, have a fantastic time, soak up the sun, sea. scenery and luxury and then bring back lots of news and pics to make me thoroughly green with envy but loaded with ideas should my OH feel the need to spoil me any time soon :)

Tobago is a lovely island and very quiet and relaxing. I would take this stop to really chill out as not a lot is going on there and avoid the capital if possible(rough and not worth visiting). There are some lovely beaches and hotel beaches to visit and relax in the warm waters. Snorkelling is good in parts on this island if you are interested.

Barbados is a party island and a lover for watersports like surfing.

Not been to any of the others, but they all have good reputations for being beautiful and relaxing.. OMG you are a lucky thing to be going on this trip.
