What timescales has anyone experience in recent months the bva regarding hip and elbow scores?  My last 2 were done 3 years ago and took about 7 weeks to come back.

Had one done recently and got the results back 3 weeks to the day.

That sounds a decent timescale, I get so impatient!  I understand that it depends partly on when you send x rays as they only score once per month.  Hopefully mine will be just in time for the next scoring.  Thanks for your reply.

had my boy done in december on a monday and they were back the following wednesday! not bad!

Wow that's fast.  Getting my youngest done in exactly a months time, aggghhhh, I hate the wait but if it's only around 3 weeks I can just about cope with that.

I know the feeling! Will let you know when I get mine back.

had my two done last thursday, hope it isnt 6 weeks, i am impatient!
My vet said they are taking about 3 weeks too so hopefully not too long, i have everything crossed :)

I had mine back in 7 days!
they have just sat so you will me looking at the second week of April now I would think

My WSS went in 5 weeks ago and I called the vet today...not back yet--he suggested waiting another 10 days...grrr

I would e-mail the BVA to make sure that there wasn't a problem if everyone elses has been done so quickly, they are usually good at replying.

I am waiting for hip and elbow results as well. I just had a look at my bank and the cheque went through yesterday. I think I'm right in saying the cheque does not go through until they have scored them so I guess I could get the results next week!

Mine went on 11th March can't check my bank account until tomorrow, maintenance ongoing over night and I forgot to check before they started lol.

Sounds like we might just get ours next week too if others have had cheques clear this week, here's hoping.

Well my assumption was correct! The scores are at the vets this morning - hips 3:3 and elbows 0.

The BVA really seem to have got there act together at last!

Well mine haven't arrived and no cheque's gone out the bank account so am assuming we missed one sitting so hope to be in the next, pity too as we've got potential buyers coming on Friday and hips were the last results outstanding grrr.

Just over 4 weeks later and we still have no confirmation from the vets HOWEVER the Kennel Club have just added the hips and elbows to their health tests site so hoping the paperwork won't be long coming.  2 pups been xrayed, both 0 elbows, one total 10 hips the other total 6 hips, breed average is 19 so very pleased!

Thanks white lilly.  Sure enough I heard from the vet today, both the scores are even 3/3 and 5/5.  Have you received yours yet schip?

Ooh, hopefully then if I have my girl done on Friday, I will be part way through the waiting time so may not be to long a wait.  Oh well, time will tell.

Well we had ours done a couple of weeks ago but have obviously missed this latest sitting.

Ours were x-rayed on 11th March results till awaited but first cheque has finally gone thru the bank today so fingers crossed soooon.

Just checked KC website - bitch results are there but not the males grrr.

Well mine were done on the 20th March so after yours Schip, do you know when your vet sent the xrays?  I expect the male's results will be any day now.

Your vet can phone BVA for result if you give him the KC reg number. My cheque had not been cashed after 5 weeks and was getting worried that  xrays had been lost. Got the result there and then and cheque was cashed 4 days later.

Mine were sent on 12th March after being converted from digital images - my bitch results were up yesterday but not the male so got Vets to check for me. 

Seems the male is being read today,  not sure if that because he was missed or if they're having a full sitting today she didn't clarify that much.  My second cheque has not been cashed as yet but would expect it go through this week if they're reading today, amazes me that 2 x rays go in together from the same breeder/practise yet they're read at the same time.

My girls were done on the 19th march and their results are in this morning one 6 and the other 7 so i am very pleased.  :) :)
