....what would it be?

If I am sick I think to myself "it could be a virus, or it could be that curry/meat/whatever I ate last night, so I'll be careful now"

When Bronte steals the butter tub off the side, eats the lot and then hurls everywhere - does it stop her eating it the next time? No!

I think I would like them to be able to tell me how they feel, and why they do things ;-)

Or maybe, can I stop them eating what they find when out on a walk, like rabbits that have been dead for weeks. Or maybe to stop them rolling in said article ;-)
- By St.Domingo Date 25.03.09 11:10 UTC
The fact that they can't poo down a toilet and flush ! ( Oh , and put the lid down when they have finished )
- By Anndee [gb] Date 25.03.09 11:12 UTC
I'd like to change Safi's digestive system, to something thats cast iron, like her mum's. ;o))
- By Teri Date 25.03.09 11:19 UTC
I would definitely like the little darlings (yeah, right :-p ) to be able to *explain their actions* .......
oh, and stop reading my mind because they run rings round me :-o

I'd like him to be able to tell me whats wron sometimes and ID LOVE to know if he could talk what he would sound like and what kind of voice he's have

Sorry not 'one thing'..I can think of a few..

That they could happily survive the washing machine and tumble drier and come out freshly washed every day :-)
That they had a button I could flick to turn their seasons off when I want.
That their hair stayed on them and not end up on my clothes and the hoover bag.
That they could levitate when wanting to avoid the Pit crosses when they zoom in to attack.
That they never got sick or suffered pain and layed down on their 16th birthday and peacefully slept forever.

I would like them to have the sense to realise that fox poo is not an attractive perfume, so I don't have to wash it off at 7.30 in the morning after a walk. (That's how my day's going, folks ...)

LOL

Agree with all the above Toolz but mine would have to be that they lived longer....
- By Whistler [gb] Date 25.03.09 12:31 UTC
Lily Mc my OH would agree with that one 100%
I think my questions would be why do you insist upon eating pony pooh? it makes your breath smell awful!
- By shadbolts [gb] Date 25.03.09 13:47 UTC
You could so easily turn this around to what the dog would change and what it would say:  eg

"why do you insist on paying all that money for that funny smelling stuff you spray on or brush your teeth with when there's all this lovely smelling free stuff just lying here on the ground" :)
- By shadbolts [gb] Date 25.03.09 13:50 UTC
What would I change about my GR - I'd like to stop her rolling in cow pats

What would I like to ask her - about her outlook on life, she just wants to be friends with everyone and almost anything even a trip to the vets seems to be a source of wonder and joy to her.
- By Astarte Date 25.03.09 14:56 UTC
i'd like them to be able to chat, how many worries would that fix?

> You could so easily turn this around to what the dog would change

"would you stop fussing!!! dad, shes looking at me funny again!"
- By Crespin Date 25.03.09 15:06 UTC
I would change the fact that their lives, no matter how long, are too short, and add some years to them.

I would also change the fact that they will lick themselves in private places, then come running over to you to kiss your face!

Oh and it would be nice if they could say how they were feeling!

Thats about it I think......love dogs completely!
- By newf3 [gb] Date 25.03.09 17:13 UTC
maybe two things.
One is the poo business and the other would be i would love it if they could tell me what's wrong when they are sick and the best way to treat them.
Would save a lot of money at the vets!!! LOL.
- By Harley Date 25.03.09 17:47 UTC
I would love to be able to explain to my terrierist how much easier life would be for all of us if he just listened to me now and again :-) My GR would like to explain to him that ears and tails are not a mode of transport for him - he has four legs which are quite capable of walking for themselves and there is absolutely no need to need to use the GR as a tow rope.
- By ceejay Date 25.03.09 17:56 UTC
Oh the rolling and eating poo and dead animals definitely.  It really spoils a lovely walk - sun shining, birds singing, turn round dog rolling Yuk and double yuk.
- By Spender Date 25.03.09 18:17 UTC
I would change their life span so they live longer; just don't live long enough for me.
- By AliceC Date 25.03.09 18:21 UTC
I would love it if dogs could talk back to you...I often find myself having a full blown conversation with mine, and when I'm around non doggy people I'm sure they think I am totally weird!
- By Mud Mops [gb] Date 26.03.09 21:57 UTC
To return to me when I ask them!!!!!
- By breehant Date 27.03.09 00:08 UTC
I am with Teri definitely with the mind reading, I am sure they would outwit some not so bright people

And I wish they could live longer, and if not as Toolz suggested lay down at 16 and go peacefully to sleep

Also learn to wipe their beards

And feet when it is wet and muddy  :)
