Hi All, i've a new addition to the family, she is delightful German Spitz Mittel we've named up to now Macey. Problem is other dog is getting confused (must be the way I say it), so we are going to have to change it. Can't come up with anything that suits at the mo any ideas people? Shes wolf sable colour, very outgoing, bounces everywhere and loves everyone. Shes now my profile pic.

howabout removing the -ey sound and using Mace, not too much of a change! although this now sounds a bit boyish.
you mentioned her colour as 'sable' - sounds like a good name too!

mace is also a dark coloured spice so suits on many counts :)

Thanks for the replies everyone, we will be going with Mace I think. Hopefully Ozzie wont be confused by that :-). She really is a live wire and the noises that come from her she sounds like a tasmanian devil !!

Welcome to 'Mace'!
Ooh I feel quite proud!! It's not every day you get to name a dog!! She looks quite a character.

Congratulations Starmutley :-)) She is actually a nutmeg colour Astarte so really suits thanks for pointing that out, my son Chris (15) is thrilled as well as I've never allowed him to pick a Star Wars name for the dogs (he picked my 'starwars' affix (which was fifth on my list so never thought it would be granted so allowed him his choice!! guess what it got granted LOL but it has grown on me!!!) and now we have 'Mace' as in Mace Windu Jedi Master!.
