Sorry the only suggestion I can make is to speak to the breeder, it may be that because they have bred from such small undersize dogs that it is one of the things that is difficult to acheive but I would have thought that you will succeed in the end. Do have a word with the breeder who may be able to tell you at what stage and age you can expect the dog to ask to go out. You don't say how old the pup is, if it is a pup, but if it is young, you are going with it aren't you, if not I would start doing so as it is probably worried on it's own. Ja:)kie
