BM hipscore is 23. Don't know about elbows though.

Not many people do elbow scoring in gordons.

Elbow are not routinely scored in Gordon setters.  At this time, hips are the only health test required by the breed clubs for the breed. 

If your friend has any questions around the breed let me know and I'll be happy to try to answer them or can point her in the right direction.

The person in question has a pup booked from a great breeder I was just inquisitive as he did not know the breed average but had Mum and Dads scores, Only hips, I was just checking for him if elbows were routienly done as I did not know, and he thought not...it was me made him question it...LOL (Hips are very good I now know!)
Mum is due in a few weeks so they are all very excited and have owned Gordens for years but have been without for a few years. He is our A&E consultant and is like a child with his excitement now a new member of the family is (We hope!!) on the way. I think they have been on this breeders list for a long time as it is someone they have had one from previously.
So all in all a great owner for his new baby.
Done things the right way and had the patience needed to wait for the right pup. Oh if only more would do the same!!!

In elbows, there is no such thing as an average score. The KC recommend you only breed from 0 and 1, never from 2.
