I have just used panacur liquid on my 7 week old puppies. I have done this week 2 5 and am doing it for them to go at 8 weeks.
I have syringed into their mouths and i am on day 3 of 3.
One of them is a real baby and has made a real fuss tonight. i have done it slowly and carefully but it seems to have gone down the wrong way in her struggle. I can see it in her nose and hear it in her breathing and she seems subdued, although is starting to liven up again.
Have i done damage!?!? could this have gone in her lungs? I have swung her and some came out of her nose but she still sounds a bit raspy. Is there anything i can do or is there any signs i should watch for?
oh this is all such a worry, and so close to the finishing line........advice please!

Watch like a hawk and if you are the slightest bit worried call the vet.
Anything, other than air, entering the lungs has the potential to provoke pneumonia and littlies are very vulnerable.
i remember some1 doing this afew years ago the pups were about 6weeks i think ...im sure the pup ended up with a chest infection and needed AB's aweek later xx
I will watch her closely but she has just eaten, drank some water, licked my face a lot and is now asleep on my lap silently so i hope she was strong enough to have cleared it. couldnt help but panic as she sounded so bubbly.
She is due to go on Saturday but if she appears noisy or unwell i will keep hold of her another week.

Put your ear to her chest and listen for crackles. Any worries don't hang about.
no crackles but i won't leave her just in case......
