my 8mth old rottie has just finished her first season, (the bleedig lasted nearly three weeks which compared to my old faithful german shephard seemed a long time) her nipples are quite lummpy and they still havent reurned to normal even after 2 weeks , is this a false pregnancy or is it something that should be investigated by a vet or is just normal.

Hi, I breed rottys, and I dont think her nipples should be lumpy, it may be an infection or it could be she thinks is pregnant, it sounds more like a false pregnancy then any thing else. my cleo can bleed for 2 weeks, when I breed her last time she let bud mount her for 15 days, which is unusual. We had 12 fantastic pups and a very easy labour and cleo was a great mum and me a very tired one. let me know what happens e mail me on DbBowness@aol.com
