Hi my pups are 2 weeks old today.Ive noticed my girl is going rather bald around the face area she is a pug so is not that hairy.
Also puppies have very flaky skin on their tails.Do you think that its all connected to her licking them

It is most likely that it is due to her washing them. My last litter consisted of just a singleton puppy, the poor thing was well washed to the point of having 'scurfy' skin, due to the dried saliva.

Please note that your not ment to mention the breed when talking about current litter. The forum rules takes that as advertising (though Im sure your're not intentionally doing that! :-))

ive just put a little aloe vera gel on their tails do you think that is ok

It may be that she is over enthusiastic in her cleaning up of both the pups and their bed or it could be demdectic mange, think I would ask the vet to take a scrape just to be sure unless they can come up with an answer when they see her.
