I have just received a e-mail confirming my place in this years race for life, ive always wanted to do it but for some reason ive never got around to doing it, well ive took the bull by the horns and signed up, its on the 28th june,, now my dear friends im sure some of you out there have done it so now i want your advice, did you walk, run jog or a bit everything? im not the fitest of people but i feel i should do alittle training, any vital tips for me? thanks all xxxx

Regardless of wether you run,jog or walk, be sure that you have trained for further than the distance. So if you are a bit off for some reason you know you can  finish. If I was running a 15 mile I trained for 16.. just gave me that extra bit of confidence...
Good Luck above all enjoy .

Good on you.  The only way I'd get round is if someone ran infront with a bottle of Chardonnay and a bag of Thorntons chocolate gingers!!!!

Oooh good luck - i'm also doing the Race For Life on the 28th June at Sherborne Castle.  Started running with one of my Rottie's the other day to get some practice in!
