Was wondering what downloading engines people use to download music.  I have tried Bearshare, but it wont let me transfer the songs onto my MP3 player, since I didnt buy a license.  So what programs are good for downloading music, and have complete songs, without the need to buy a license.

Thanks!

I use Piolet- just the free version- have never had a problem with it like I have with others like Lime Wire ect

I use Itunes, I then right click on the tune and save as an AAC version which means that it can be played on an MP3 player.

Download BitComet (bitcomet.com) and download Torrent files from Isohunt.com.

Then open the torrent files in BitComet and enjoy. Lots of choice on Isohunt.

Good luck :)

I am with tom re the bit torrent network.

I use utorrent ( http://www.utorrent.com ) as the client program and http://www.piratebay.org for searching.

Utorrent has a very small foot print and is very well behaved.

I prefer pirate bay as it has a decent comments system. Allowing you to check the integrity of the file prior to downloading.

post back if you need help to set it up

I gave up on the bear share peer to peer networks years ago- too many viruses and incomplete files

I found that too!  Right now i have downloaded the one dollface had mentioned, and it seems to be ok, but looking into the other ones mentioned here as well.

I need a new set of songs on my MP3 player, as I get bored easy with music, and these have been on a long time now!  lol

Not that I would even condone the illegal downloading of music, games and films but I've heard TorrentBox and PirateBay are very good (although PB are currently involved in a massive court case in Sweden over illegal downloading). If you know someone who knows someone you may be able to get an invite to IPTorrents which has all the latest films and games first. (Think I've got 5 invites left if anyone wants one!)
Vuze and BitTorrent are good clients for downloading.
