I am trying to find out about my english bull terrier "Shiner" He is an English Bull Terrier betwwen 6 and 7 years old. We believe his Father was Rolling Thunder but we dont know his Mother.
When we bought him, we were told that he did'nt have any papers because he was the runt of the litter and because we only intended to keep him as a pet we did'nt persue it. Obvoiusly now with his age we would like to get a pup from him. The main reason being his temperment. He's Brilliant with the kids and we know he wont be around forever.
Shiner is a fully white bull terrier with Black Ears and a Black Patch over his Left eye.
Can anyone please help us
Yours

I don't know much about EBT but I think that 6-7 is too old for a stud dog to be used for the first time.

Hi,
I breed and show bull terriers and at the age your dog is you may find you have problems with getting a mating.
Also you will problably find that, even though he is a lovable boy, no one will be willing to use an unregistered dog. I know of people with good quality KC registered dogs who have never had a mating.
Most Bull Terriers have lovely natures and are sweeties with children.
If you email me the name of his breeder I may know them, although I don't know any breeders off hand who don't register puppies.
The majority of breeders would use endorsements instead.
best wishes
Sharon

Hi Kim,
Think you have just emailed me privately.
But in case it wasnt you and anyone else is interested. The northern Provincial Bull Terrier Club website address is
www.bullterriernpbtc.homestead.com/
It contains a list of all the regional clubs and the secretaries details.
Hope this helps

Sharon, would it be possible to add some of the breed club details to
Champdogs main site? That way anyone looking for a puppy will get breeder and breed club details :-)

Hi Leigh,
that would be perfect.
Just tell me where and how and I'll do it! Do you have a special Breed Club section? I couldnt see it?
Sharon
