My border terrier x jack russell puppy is 11 weeks old and this morning she started foaming at the mouth, had a fit and then ran into the walls and doors. When I picked her up she wouldn't stop crying, I took her straight to the vet and she kept on crying, he gave her 2 injections, one being painkillers. She has a small hernia where her umbilical cord was. He said he would x-ray her if she is bad later on today. I am wondering what could be wrong with her and could the hernia be affecting her internally? and should I contact the breeder regarding her problems as when we brought her the breeder said a vet checked her and she was fine, and didn't mention the hernia.

It's more likely to be caused by something she's chewed or eaten than a hernia. Your vet is the best person to advise you though.

Has she been chewing houseplants or some plants in the garden?  It may be worth a thorough check just in case ;)   Also check that no one has used or left SLUG PELLETS where she can get at them ;)

One of ours did this after a spot of toad-licking. He was ok and steered clear of them after it!
