The kids sat eating their brekkie this morning watching big , fat flakes of snow falling . They were  discussing just how big the snowman (that they make when they get home from school ) was going to be  .
Just managed to throw a snowball or 2 before going into school - and now it's all melted away !

My worry is for all those people trying to get to Crufts tomorrow as they are predicting a lot more snow all over the country.

Nope no white stuff here it's pretty cold though! Brrr...

We got a sprinkling on the ground, but looks very white on the mountains.

It snowed here (suburbs of Glasgow) for most of last night and did eventually lie.  There was quite a lot to get off my car this morning.  Hopefully it'll all be away by the time I get home tonight.

Its just started snowing here in Rochdale (near manchester) but its not dry enough for it to stick

Just rain, rain and more rain until this morning when the sun came out ;-) Just brought my washing back in and it's all dry :-D

Fingers crossed for everyone going. I remember well the year I skidded most of the way home through snowdrifts on the motorways and ice rinks in the services car parks :-)

We got quite a heavy snow shower this morning, didn't last long enough to settle though! Have had bright sun since then.

It's been sunny for a couple of days here.  It's been great to see a line full of the dogs duvet covers blowing outside, instead of drying on the clothes horses.

It's snowing again here in Glasgow city centre. :(

no snow but we got light hail stones this afternoon.

Note a flake here although when I walked the dogs yesterday I took them up the hills where there was a little snow, texted Liv just to make her green.

Yep I heard that Southeastern were advising people not to travel after I'd got on the 7.06 to Cannon St (run by Southeastern) which left on time and arrived on time as were all the other Southeastern trains running on the Dartford to London line.

Absolutely yes! it started yesterday evening , great big huge flakes falling, and had to get up in the middle of the night to see how much had fallen. Had about 6-8 inches of snow here in Devon, o/h went out whooping this morning, he couldn't wait to drive about in it.

Today ( Thursday) a couple of showers of snow, not laying, but very very cold here in Hampshire!
Does not help when I am suffering with a bad cold, could turn into man flu if I am not careful!

Been rain on and off all day here, with many breaks of lovely sunshine.

Last night we had clear skies followed by rain, followed by hail, then rain and then clear skies...(I was working until 5am this morning)

we had lots here in Dorchester Dorset,several roads were closed, I got a day off from work so my dogs enjoyed an extra long walk and i got the housework done all the washing and ironing and its all packed away.
