
Yes I listened to it. It had some very good points and while they trotted out the regulars like Mark Evans.... it was not on the whole so one sided and biased as the PDE programme was. I was surprised the cat owning expert did not comment on pedigree cats since it was a good platform for him. At least they had the sense to speak to folk other than Ms Cuddy and Ms Harrison. If only PDE had been so balanced... I think we would still have seen changes as many were already in the pipeline at the KC for inroduction this year and next. I also think that had PDE been as balanced as the Radio 4 programme, more would have been acheived than has been so far, as it would not have encouraged the puppy farmers and back yard breeders, or put otherwise good responsible breeders doing thier best for dogs. Last week I heard of a breeder who has health tested his stock for many years, and carefully bred his dogs. After PDE he had sent back to the KC his affix and is now refusing to breed any more.
